The Role

• Lead Information Security Governance initiatives, ensuring policies, procedures, and controls are aligned with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and organizational objectives.
• Conduct risk assessments and control evaluations to identify gaps, advise on mitigation strategies, and support management in decision-making regarding risk acceptance or treatment.
• Support Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program, ensuring sensitive information is protected across business units.
• Perform security posture assessments across technology and business units, advising on necessary controls to mitigate identified risks.
• Assist in incident response activities, participating in detection, investigation, escalation, and coordination with internal teams to ensure timely resolution and minimal business impact.
• Manage SIEM platform and fine-tuning, ensuring robust threat detection and actionable alerts.
• Provide security advisory support for IT and digital transformation projects, embedding governance, risk management, and compliance requirements.
• Deliver engaging and informative information security awareness sessions to end-users, empowering them to become proactive guardians of our digital assets.
• Define and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of security controls and governance processes, driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a solid background of 3–4 years in Information Security/IT Governance domains, demonstrating proficiency in managing complex security landscapes.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, supplemented by industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 LA.
• Exhibit sound knowledge of IT infrastructure components including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Antimalware, EDR, SIEM, and DLP, along with familiarity with cloud technologies and database management.
• Display proficiency with industry frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ISO 27001, CIS, NIST, leveraging them to enhance our security posture.
• Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams.
